The Gavita WEGA is the new phenomenal LED toplight from the world leader in grow-lighting solutions. The new WEGA fixture has been designed with attention to detail. The WEGA has been tested in extreme climate environments to ensure long-lasting reliability, durability and performance. The WEGA has been optimized for use in hybrid installations but performs outstanding as a stand-alone as well. Results are still preliminary.

Lightrecipe

The WEGA LED board has been designed to the highest specification and uses only top-bin LED. In combination with the high-efficiency wide-angle lenses this results in a 2130µmol/s output with an efficiency of 3.2µmol/J.
The initial spectrum is optimized for tomatoes, flowers and leafy greens. Other spectra will be available soon.

Light distribution

Due to the wide-angle high-efficiency lenses the WEGA is highly suitable for hybrid installations where a wide beam provides optimal uniformity. The light distribution has been designed with the retrofitting of existing greenhouses in mind. The WEGA has a similar beam angle to HPS fixtures. This makes it possible to effectively replace old HPS fixtures with the gavita WEGA LED fixture. Lowering power consumption, increasing output and maintaining uniformity.

Passive cooling

Through clever design the WEGA heatsink was developed with maximum use of the chimney effect in mind.
This has resulted in a small form factor high efficiency heatsink, lowering LED temperatures and ensuring maximum efficiency and durability.

Industry standard

Our innovations ensure that you obtain the highest return on investment. Our R&D team is constantly working to optimize and improve existing designs. Many of Gavita’s innovations have become the horticultural market standard, such as its aluminum housing, Wieland connectors and MIRO/VEGA aluminum reflectors. Gavita has been copied many times, but never outperformed.

Together with you we map out your specific requirements and translate them into a tailor-made light calculation. Following delivery, the collaboration is of course continued. In addition to sharing knowledge of new developments in the market and regular contact with our representatives, it is also possible to have light measurements taken or your fixtures tested in our test center.
